NOTE: We will not be requiring proof of vaccination or a negative COVID test to participate in the fall meeting. We will be following CDC recommendations and any city requirements at the time of the meeting. Any COVID protocols as well as updated activity information will be available on this website as they become available, so please check in regularly for updates.
The on-line meeting registration system has been enabled. September 23 will be the final day to register for the meeting to receive a US$50 discounted registration fee. After September 23 and no later than October 12, the higher registration fee will apply. Registrations after October 12 will be on site only. If you need a change that results in a refund, please send your request in an email to firstname.lastname@example.org. A US$25 service charge will be incured on a full refund request or US$10 for deletion of an event resulting in a partial refund. NO REFUNDS will be granted after Wednesday, October 12.

Our group will start the day with a private tour of historic Rosedale, which has been a part of Charlotte’s history since 1815. After lunch at Rooster’s Wood-Fired Grill with its upscale menu of Southern food and dishes with international influences made from local ingredients, tour attendees will craft their own signature scented candle at Paddywax Candle Bar. Limited to 24 people, so register early if you plan to attend!
WEDNESDAY, OCTOBER 19, NASCAR HALL OF FAME 8Sep2022
This interactive entertainment venue honoring the history and heritage of NASCAR is located only a few blocks from the hotel and features artifacts, hands-on exhibits, a 64-foot projection screen with surround sound and Hall of Honor.

Tour the Siemens Energy Worldwide Energy Hub that manufactures and services generators, gas and steam turbines for the power generation market. Dinner will be served at the Siemens Energy facility. Tour is limited to one bus, so register early if you plan to attend.

Duke Energy will host a tour of its Emerging Technology Center. Featuring a real microgrid, attendees will see where Duke Energy’s R&D takes place and new approaches are tested for broad application on today’s and tomorrow’s grid. A box lunch will be served on the bus to the facility. Register early as tour is limited to the first 20 people who sign up.
