The Transformers Committee uses the Association Management (AM) System to communicate within the Committee, and administrate our membership and meeting attendance records. This system is the Committee’s PRIMARY MODE OF COMMUNICATION.
This web-based system allows our 90+ subcommittees, working groups, task forces, and liaison associations to communicate more effectively via email messages. Fewer bounced emails will result because individual contact information is “self-maintained” and is stored in a single relational database used by all functions of the system. Activity leaders can print meeting rosters and are required to maintain meeting attendance records within the system. The AM System also provides a more efficient and cost-effective on-line meeting registration system.
HOW TO ENROLL
There are essentially three levels of membership in the system:
- Committee Member (CM, a “full voting member” of the Committees)
- Active Participant (AP, not a Committee Member, but an active contributor and meeting attendee)
- Interested Individual (II, a “remote observer” and supporter of the Committee’s scope)
Anyone can enroll in the AM System — even those who desire to passively monitor our work from a distance. Initially, a person is automatically enrolled as an Interested Individual. Once regular participation is validated, enrollment is upgraded to Active Participant. Completion and acceptance of a Committee Member Application is required to become a full Committee Member.
Committee membership is encouraged! Eligibility requirements can be found in “Committee Information” box located on the website homepage (click on the “Voting Members” link). The Transformers Committee welcomes you to join and participate in the scope of our work!!

Committee membership status (Committee Member, Active Participant, Interested Individual) can be determined by logging in and viewing your profile. If you suspect your membership status is incorrect, contact the system administrator at email@example.com
Want to find a buddy within the Committee database? Membership Directory
This function is only available to “full voting members” of the Transformers Committee. If you are not a Committee Member, and try to access this function, you will receive a message denying access.
Note: All system accesses and functions are logged! Anyone performing undesired or malicious activities will be identified. Any use of the system for commercial purposes — for instance, numerous repetitive access to the Membership Directory to create marketing-type lists — may result in permanent suspension from system
If you are a Committee activity leader (SC/WG/TF chair, vice-chair, or secretary), you can be given limited administrative rights to the system to populate and manage a portion of the system. You may also print meeting rosters and record attendance at a meeting.
