SPECIAL DISCOUNTED AIRFARE FROM

TAP Airlines, a member of the Star Alliance family of airlines, has offered the following special discounted airfare for attendees of the Fall Meeting: 10% off economy-class fares and 20% off business-class fares.

INSTRUCTIONS:

Note: The following steps may change when TAP changes their website in May 2008.

1.  Enter the TAP website (www.flytap.com).  Select "English" language at the top of the page if desired.  Select the dates and airports of choice and click "Book Now ->".

2.  Select the flights of choice.

3.  Confirm the selected flights, read the conditions, and click "book this fare".

4.  Sign-in as a Guest User.

5.  Select a seat (optional), agree to the conditions with the check-box, and click "confirm".

6.  Enter your Passport/Identity Card Information and credit card information.  In one of the Special Requests boxes, enter the following discount code and click "confirm": IT8TPCG46.

7.  The final price shown at the end of the booking is the un-discounted public fare.  Do not be alarmed.  The discounted fare does not show here.  The discount will be applied when the ticket is actually issued later in the day.  Your credit card will be debited with the discounted amount.  You will receive a confirmation email within 24 hours.

SPECIAL CONDITIONS

• The discount is only valid for flights ticketed through TAP's website (www.flytap.com).

• Payment must be by credit card.  Reservations made previously through TAP or travel agencies are not eligible for the discount.

• This discount will apply to all TAP destinations and only on TAP operated flights.  Code-share flights operated by other airlines are not permitted. 

• The discount is valid for flight dates 10 days before / 10 days after the meeting (25 September to 19 October). 

• For departures from the USA/EUA, this discount is only available from flights originating from Newark Airport (Airport Code "EWR").  A separate ticket from another airline may be necessary to connect to Newark Airport.

Tuesday, October 7, all day:  Guimarães City Tour & Braga City Tour Guimarães is a medieval town in the north of Portugal with origins back in the 10th century.  The city is referred to as the "birthplace of Portugal's nationality and independence."  Following lunch in Braga City, we will be touring Braga, the city known as "The Portuguese Rome" for the concentration of religious architecture.  One of the most beautiful cities of Portugal, the town center is small enough to visit on a pleasant walking tour and enjoy several traditional shops, gardens, and the oldest cathedral in Portugal.
